We came here on a Sunday evening at 6:15 with a party of two for dinner. We were seated promptly and were able to put in our order shortly thereafter. The service is fairly cut and dry with no frills, but that was fine with us given the quality of the food! The food started coming out shortly after we ordered it. We ordered the sweet & spicy crispy chicken, the thinly sliced beef with cumin, and the eggplant with century egg. The sweet and spicy crispy chicken had some great crunch to it and the flavor with the fried shallots and crunch of the peanuts was fantastic. The sliced beef with cumin was like nothing else I’ve had before and had an awesome and not overpowering cumin taste to it. It was cooked really well and quite tender. The century egg and eggplant was also super creamy and the flavor was smoky and delectable. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend coming here for some authentic Hunan food!

I recently ordered takeout from my happy hunan kitchen and it was outstanding. The food was incredibly delicious, with fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning. The portion sizes were generous, and everything arrived hot and well-packaged. Which was flavorful and satisfying. My Happy Hu Nan Kitchen exceeded my expectations with their excellent takeout service. I highly recommend them for a fantastic meal.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The flavors were very authentic, and I would personally love it even spicier next time. The serving speed was perfectly fine. Overall, a great dining experience and I’d be happy to come back again.

As someone from Hunan, this is the most authentic Hunan cuisine I've ever had in the U.S.! It's incredibly delicious! One bite and it feels like being back in my hometown! It definitely deserves a five-star review!

Very solid tasting food, would be back just for the food! Don’t expect anything from service though, mediocre at best. The cost per dish is slightly on the pricier at the end (if the entire menu is at 90% of its price, it’s good) but the flavors made up for it and I’ll be back sometimes :) Parking is widely available outside and is free after 6pm

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Very authentic Hunan cuisine with real, traditional flavors. The only suggestion would be to speed up the food preparation time a bit. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely come back.

The best dish was the green pepper and eggplant with century egg. The hot braised beef noodle soup was warm and not hot like I’m used to, but the flavor was spicy and very yummy overall. The sweet and sour short ribs were as expected. All the dishes were warm but not piping hot. The Sichuan sliced beef was spicy and a little numbing but had good flavor and paired well with the noodles and rice. The sweet and spicy crispy chicken was really yummy and the peanuts were very crispy. Thin-sliced beef in golden soup was tangy, spicy and paired well with the noodles and rice, although if the beef was hot it would have been better. Portion size was standard. The service was good, they came once in a while to give us more water, but nothing more than that. They also charge 20% gratuity for any groups larger than 6, at least they let us know before we put a lot more on top than we intended.
